Contact Form Question Answered

Posted on July 21, 2010 at 12:01 PM Comments comments (0)

Question submitted through contact form (this one had no reference email, so I'll answer it here):

“I have been reviewing the information on the names and their influences. When it comes to numerology I have heard those say that only the name as it appears on the birth certificate and then again on official use ie driver's license, marriage certificate etc would be influence others debate that additional names have meanings, such as confirmation names, which for a catholic is a big deal, and often is a name that a person chooses for themselves though still there is influence of parental wishes, so in your opinion does a confirmation name matter does it add energy to the name to a lesser degree, and if so what kind of influence would this bring? Also the idea of nicknames, how strong of an influence would this be, for some a nickname may be one of little use but for another it could be something that most people would know the person by. Example, person's birth certificate has their name on it, but most through out her life didn't know of her birth name, only knew her by the nick name, so would this make the influence of the name Dewy stronger than Dorothy or for another woman who never used her first name or middle name, so instead there are those who do not know her as Anita Virginia but instead as Pete, would that mean that the Anita Virgina may have some energy influence but that the Pete was stronger, she used this so much that even her social security and taxes were to Pete not to Anita Virgina.

What are you views on this type of voluntary unofficial name change, and on additions to names such as Confirmation names for catholics, or hyphened names for those who still use their maiden and married names?”

Heather's answer:

Confirmation names: These would fall under 'Extended Connecting Energies', which refer to any name or number that is connected to you in some way, but is not used on a regular basis. Obviously, there will be a 'shadow' effect but the main influence energy-wise will come from the name you use the most. This is the most important factor in using Chaldean numerology: now is important – not then.

Nicknames: Again, if the nickname is the name most commonly used, then that will be the main energy vibrations surrounding the person.

Voluntary or unofficial name changes: It does not matter if a name is legal or not. If it is what you are called on a daily basis, then that is your current energy.

Hyphenated last names: Any hyphenated name, whether first, middle or last involves double energies. That means that a first name (or social energy) would reflect two different energy 'vibes'...the same is true for any category a double name falls into. Double energies are not necessarily positive as one can conflict with the other. A complete analysis would need to be done in order to ascertain whether or not this is true: sometimes double energies work well together; sometimes they don't.

In conclusion: it does not matter what names or indeed, how many names are connected to a person: the only thing considered important is the name most often used...currently!

Hope that helps!

Update on Chaldean Book

Posted on July 16, 2010 at 8:29 PM Comments comments (0)

The dream is becoming closer to becoming reality -- as some of you know, I have been working on my book on Chaldean numerology for a while now.

I have just met my deadline for a rewrite...so if Universe agrees, I am anticipating its release before the end of this year.

Send out your good vibrations!

Light and Love,

Heather

I am available weekdays and weekends, so let me know if you would like to book something...bring a friend and make a day of it! (there are many lakes and parks nearby). Just drop me an email or leave me a message through the 'Contact Me' page...and don't forget to include your phone number or email address.

Thought for the Day

Posted on June 25, 2010 at 9:32 AM Comments comments (1)

I had a thought late last night and decided to use this blog for its original intention, which is, I think, to post ideas, comments...or thoughts. Duh?

I would also like to invite anyone who cares to to post their thoughts, ideas or comments here, to do so as well.

So my thought for the day is this: We all have a choice as to how we respond to things in our daily lives. We can give in to the easy options, like becoming angry, defensive or hurt, or we can 'rise above' and take the different road: we can remember that getting angry, defensive or hurt only creates more negative vibrations in addition to the ones that created these potential reactions in the first place.

We can choose to smile, sincerely acknowledge the other's reasons for feeling the way they do, validate their emotions while not convicting ourselves and remember that there is a lesson in there somewhere for us.

We can respond with love and compassion -- if not for someone else, then for ourselves.

Have a lovely Friday.

Hugs,  Heather

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

A prayer for us all in 2010

A Healing

May we hear with new ears and heed the clear voice

which whispers that yes, we do have a choice

May we  see with new eyes and not turn away

from actions that may not match what we say

May we touch with new softness and understand

Tears in our eye and the oil on our hands

May we speak gently and honor another

Then focus our healing on Earth Mother

May we taste of success and not climb so high

that we risk a fall from the heights of the sky

May we smell the sea air and the gold roses

Before the door slowly swings back and closes

May we feel and know love from the inside out

and let go of fear and anger and doubt

May we sooth our world with compassion and feel

the energy allowing us all to heal

BOO-BOOS IN THE ROOM

Posted on May 26, 2009 at 12:43 PM Comments comments (0)

Just want to let everyone know that there are a few bugs - repeating text (Do it Yourself Oracles), spacing issues, picture placement and alignment errors that I am unable to edit...my host site support folks say that I have made some mistakes when putting the pages together and that some 'invisible codes' have messed up my pages...anyway, I can not fix them. Please forgive the boo-boos. I still think this site is fairly remarkable, since I am completely computer challenged.

Thanks, Deniss!

Hi Deniss,

On the subject of Chaldean numerology - I recently began a communication with Leeya Thompson: she is the author of at least 3 books on Chaldean numerology...how interesting it is to talk to someone who 'speaks Chaldean!' (Ms. Thompson is 78 years old - I hope she doesn't mind my saying so, but she has 47 years of experience with the Chaldean system - she is a wealth of information!)

We both have the same thoughts on the system, about how accurate it is in comparison to the Pythagorean one - but we both feel there are other elements when reading a name that involve the intuition, especially when it comes to the phonetics - like C versus K (Christine/Kristine) for example. I have been enthralled with Chaldean since I first discovered it years ago and have even put it all together into book form.

The publishing world is slow at the best of times, so I am hoping for publication by 2010!

Thank you for your message and interest - if you have a particular request regarding a letter you would like to know more about, drop me a line - I am open to the subject for my next article!

God Bless,

Heather

Listen to the radio...

Posted on April 7, 2009 at 6:09 AM Comments comments (1)

So I was on the radio, or computer in this case, on Friday last. It was quite an enjoyable experience despite my slight case of the jitters before going on air, but I got over it!

Mona was a wonderful host and we spent the hour talking about the origins of Chaldean numerology, what makes it different from the modern system and what it all means. If I am doing something that I enjoy, the time flies in a heartbeat -- and the hour went by in the blink of a gnat's eye. Very cool.

If anyone wants to listen to the podcast, just go to Mona's page: www.monamagick.com and check out previous shows or www.blogtalkradio.com/monamagick  will get you there, too.

And for those of you who are wondering about the status of my book -  only Universe knows for sure -- lol...it's coming, it's coming!

Thank-you, Ketira

How kind of you to leave me a message...once I have negotiated the 30 second trip to the bathroom, I shall extend my trip to the seashore (I live on the Pacific Ocean...literally!) where the sunsets are almost as good as Wayne's photos!

p.s. 'Egyptian pagan'? I find that most intriguing...

Hugs from Heather
