 The concept that 'letters have meanings' may be silly to some folks or interesting to others. It depends on how one looks at it, I suppose. But the alphabet did not just fall from the sky one day: it has an origin just like everything else, and each individual letter does indeed have its own energy. In these few sample pages, I will do my best to illustrate what I mean when I refer to the meanings of letters!.

  'A' words share one particular point...they begin with the, obviously, first letter in the alphabet which makes them ...umm, 'first'. Things that are first generally are originals and can be a force unto themselves. In fact, the title 'An Original Force' is given as a descriptive for the energy of the A. It is a sharp, pointed kind of shape, which, again being first, is often alone, but is also a pioneer: a leader for the others (letters) to follow. Following are some images and brief explanations to expand on the concept of original force.

So, below we have an argument between a couple of birdbrains and a display of anger from the nice lady on the phone.      

     Anger is a deep emotion which can overtake a person, sometimes when they least expect it and can become the cause of explosive arguments and  illogical behaviours. An original force, to be sure. And here we have someone's beloved automobile which is spit-polished and cared for like a newborn child.  It contains tremendous force (or HP) and can do 1 to 60 in some tiny amount of time. It is also one of the original sports models, but that's just by chance. It could just as well have turned out to be a station wagon. The point is that it is a 'force' that can take you from point 'A' to point 'B' in a hurry and it looks like it only seats one. Person. Alone.                                             

       Joe Athelete here (who is an original force in his own right) has just taken a turn with a little too much enthusiasm and has found himself and his car pointing in the wrong direction.  This happened after a series of other automobiles chased him at a high speed and with determination and plenty of HP.                                                                                                                                                                   Major inconvenience                                                                                                                                                                              ( accident)Welcome to Andrew's Repair Shop

      And now for something a little lighter...an angel is an energy                from an unusualor an original place                             

    Of Course, there are other things floating around in space, too...astronauts and aerodynamic machines from the Airforce...which shoot up through the atmosphere and pierce the skies, breaking through sound barriers and into new territories. Like the Apollo Program. Pioneering forces, goal-oriented energies creating new boundaries, leading teams on dangerous and pioneering missions...uh, you get it, right? Original forces, each one of them.

       I would be remiss if I didn't pay homage to one particular creature...he's an original and he inspires many people to alternately shake in their boots, enjoy a good laugh or conduct serious research. I present the one and only...                                        friendly Alien

Now, I must mention the atom, which started all this. And once I have done that, it just naturally follows that I would have to mention atomic. Hmmm. Kinda like from one end of the spectrum to the other. And both ends are certainly original forces.

 *Am I crazy, or is there a maniacal clown face laughing his butt off in that centre cloud? See the big mouth, the pointy chin and the round nose: the eyes? See it?

Some more A stuff. How about Art? Certainly original and is is a clear case of the force of individual communication.

And the beauty of woman and child and the water of emotion that binds them together...

Both original, elemental forces depicted through the media of Art... 

One of the oldest fruits known to man is also a centerpiece to one of the oldest stories known to man. This little fruit can be seen as perfection (as in the apple of someone's eye), be the rotten apple in the barrel, be shot off of some unlucky sod's head, bobbed for, made into a traditional pie, brought to the teacher, keep the doctor away and if you're Snow White, you might just get kissed by your Prince and thank him by spitting a piece of apple into his face. Nice. Many things can happen when an apple is involved.

So, not to put to fine a point on it...the apple goes back to the origins of mans' story and is almost an entity unto itself. It is one of the elements which has always been present and has always provided sustenance for mankind.

And finally...

Illustrative the energy of the A...this letter stands for the beginning, the pioneer, the one who lasts, the force of being, of existing. A perfect word to describe that state is alive. Something that might overcome that power of being alive: an energy that holds its own force and acts in an almost inevitable way is:

                 Arsenic                                               Anyone whose name begins with an A is energetic, a leader, enthusiastic, a pioneer, a risk-taker, is not ruled by emotion and is capable of running their own company and their own lives quite successfully. The drawback here is that the A tends to focus on advancement, ambition and achievement which can leave them alone too much. The A needs to learn to blend with others: to involve others in their lives in an emotional way. Or, to get outta their heads and into their hearts!

The other letters in the name will have a bearing on the

intensity of the energy.                                                               

And now, we come to the letter B, which is all about beginnings of a different sort. This is the blending of two entities into one, or the 'Birth of Balance'. If you look at the B as two bubbles joined together by a stem, you might get an idea of what I am saying. There is a connection of two in B words and sometimes the connection of two leads to more, as in pairs. Pictures speak louder than words, so let me just show you.

These speak for themselves. They come in pairs and in different sizes. They are also known as breasts (or boobs, usually by men) and have multiple uses. Often, they are stuffed into bras, slept on, sucked on (as in by a baby...jeez) and commented on. But they are the perfect example of the balance of the B. And the connection of 2.                                             Bras were invented by a man.   They like bras very much...here, one is being demonstrated by a gentleman for our viewing pleasure.

        Guess what this guy's on about?. 

Double duty.      Comfy. Really.   The next logical link from breasts and balance (and let's throw in bursting belly)...is a beautiful, bouncing baby boy (girl)!  Isn't he just tooo cuute? AAAwwwwwww. What a little angel...                                      

        Nice baby.                             

Of course, babies are the result of two 'halfs' coming together to form a 'whole':            

  the bachelor requires a bride

(preferably blushing) in order to become betrothed. They are then in balance and can produce the baby. After the honeymoon, they might go away on a boat for a lovely vacation. 

                        Nice boat.  

    Now that I am off into another direction, let's look at some boats...

  Kinda weird boat. It has a forest and everything. 

    This boat is a bit too full of itself.

 They need the water in order to float. No float, no boat. One without the other is a non-issue. They need one another in order to balance.

       See what I mean?

Just as boats need water to float, birds, butterlies and other traditional flying things need the air and a set of wings in order to fly. Failing this, we have a:

       The B is a question of Balance. It is the other half of that which is needed.

          Balance in motion Oops.                                    

The meaning of B as a first letter of a name: 

The B is all about finding an equal opposite: one that brings balance - hence, the energy of this letter is one of peace and benevolence. Domestic bliss is valued, as is a good relationship. The B tends to be fairly easy-going but is prone to feeling blue if something is out of balance in their lives.

The other letters in the name will have a bearing on the intensity of the B energy.
